The location here was fantastic, very close to the main pedestrian street and promenade; the staff were all friendly, and the place was lovely – we would definitely come back here.

Delightful place & impressive room that was warm. The location was magnificent for Cabourg, just off the center, a pretty garden and public area near cafe bar and restaurants on foot and the church opposite. A few times I ate at L'atelier, located at a walking distance from the hotel...

A fantastic location right next to restaurants and a public area with a café bar, and there is a beautiful church across the street.

very convenient for the town of Cabourg on foot and for the countryside and coast of Normandy by car . Bedrooms very clean with towels and linen changed each day. Proprietors helpful and friendly , a homely atmosphere.
Double beds small for two people. Breakfast not taken but appeared expensive compared to local cafe a few minutes walk into town

Cleanliness and convenience; together with quietness - despite location on a major urban road
The room was a bit small and the bathroom somewhat cramped

The young lady owner greeted us on arrival and when learning that we would be having breakfast, immediately made a cake, to go with the chocolate one that she had already made. The breakfast had everything that you could want from cheese and ham to croisants, pain au choc, yoghurts, fruit juice, three different breads, fresh fruit and two home made cakes, plus limitless amounts of strong coffee. We were made to feel welcome, something that does not always happen in small hotels in France, and we will certainly be returning on our return to Cabourg.
We chose the cheapest rooms as it was only for one night and our friends room was very small, in fact we think it was only a four foot bed. We will know next time.

Central location (just round the corner from main restaurant area).
This is a criticism of hotels generally. You book a room in advance and arrive to find that the room selected is not one of the better ones. In this case, it was grotty (shabbily decorated with a view overlooking a back yard). We got upgraded to a much better room with a balcony and a view of the church, but it was an extra 20 Euros per night. We declined breakfast because it was extra 10 Euros per head and stayed only only one night instread of 3. Visit redeemed by very personable receptionist/language student, who spoke impeccable English. Generally, if room is not up to expectations, we ask for another which is much better and at no extra cost.

Opt for the top-notch triple room with its own bathroom. 🛁

The location was good for visits along the coast, but primarily for the ease of access to the morning sailing from Ouistreham. The breakfast provided the best we experienced during our 9 day visit to Normandy.
